Banjul, May 25.- Cuban and Gambian health professionals will celebrate a new Scientific Day on Friday, dedicated this time to Africa Day, and to the International Medical Collaboration of the Caribbean island, which celebrated its 60th anniversary last Tuesday.
At the meeting, doctors, graduates and technicians from both brother countries will present research documents in different specialties with the purpose of contributing to better and effective health care.
The members of the Cuban Medical Brigade (BMC) in The Gambia and their colleagues from this West African nation will also greet with their science conclave the 44th anniversary of the establishment of bilateral diplomatic relations celebrated on May 19.
The conference will be held at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Banjul, and at its closing the best research presented will be awarded.
