The Cuban Medical Brigade in the Gambia is eternally grateful and very proud of the incredible work of our colleagues who provide health services and fight the pandemic in the Greater Antilles.
Today the world is experiencing one of the most difficult health moments in the history of humanity, health personnel are writing a page of glory, sacrifice, altruism and solidarity, a waste of humanism and dedication to the noblest of tasks; save lives, overthrowing death.
They face the Pandemic as great brave, courageous, not because they are not afraid, but because they know the lives of our families, brothers, parents, uncles, friends are in their hands, because their love, their passion for the profession they exercise goes beyond of fears, difficulties, shortcomings and lack of equipment and medicines to provide the service of excellence that the valuable Cuban population deserves.
As our national anthem says, they do not fear a glorious death because to die for the country is to live.
With extreme pride we observe those young doctors who run when they are asked for help, sparing no time or fatigue, who do everything in their possibilities to cooperate and comfort the family.
How good it is to be able to count on you, children of our friends, of our brothers, who today emerge as good men, children of a country that proudly contemplates you.
There are many impediments that the genocidal blockade has imposed on the most supportive island in the universe, to save its people from this exterminating pandemic, but nothing stops these heroes, who, worn out by exhaustion, carry on without losing their breath and desire. to help and alleviate suffering.
For all of the above and because we all feel deeply what they have done so far and continue to do, Doctors, nurses, technologists, engineers, service personnel, students of medical sciences and other universities, in short, all that army heroic guerrillas who fight tirelessly for victory, deserve all our respect, admiration, consideration and love, the debt to you is eternal, forever grateful. they will win !!!!!!
