Through his Twitter account, the President urged «to dedicate our body and soul to achieve a vaccination strategy in each place.»
Likewise, he called for rigor and planning, «with a strong work system that reaches even the smallest detail.»
The head of state assured that the above will allow victory in the epidemiological scenario facing the country.
In this sense, he highlighted the beginning of the Sanitary Intervention in risk groups and territories with the vaccine candidates Soberana02 and Abdala, of national production.
According to official sources, health workers and students from all over the country who were not considered in the intervention studies, as well as part of the population of Havana, Santiago de Cuba, Matanzas, Pinar del Río and the municipality will participate in this stage. special Isla de la Juventud.
Díaz-Canel pointed out that working for economic development and in the fight against Covid-19 are priorities in the island for the coming months.
He also commented that the intervention study with Cuban vaccine candidates has demonstrated the safety and effectiveness of these drugs.
